Hi. I am Elizabeth.

Welcome to my blog. I use this little space to chronicle the adventures of the Noel family!

Kid Friendly Recipe Roundup

Hey friends!

I thought that today would be a good time to share some recipes and foods that we love to make with and for Dex. He is a picky eater due to some sensory challenges (although he has come a LONG way) and just being a 6 year old boy. Bryan and I are both foodies, so we eat a large variety of foods, but our sweet Dex often eats the same foods on a regular basis, and he would eat Chick-Fil-A every meal if we would let him. :) We try to change things up or have a couple of new foods a week for him to try.

Some of the pre-made foods that are healthy and favorites around here are the Earth's Best Chicken Fries, Veggie Fries from the Freezer section, Dave's killer bread for sandwiches and toast, Vans Gluten Free Blueberry Waffles, Sunbutter, Costco Chicken Kale burgers, Smoothie Mix, Veggie Straws, Coconut Milk yogurt, and the Immaculate baking company's Gluten Free/Dairy Free chocolate chip cookies.

Some of the recipes that he loves to make and eat are

- Applesauce Muffins

- Spinach Muffins

-Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

-Roasted Tomato Soup

-Mini quiche

-Gluten free pumpkin banana muffins

-Vegan/Paleo Chocolate Pudding

- Green smoothie with chia seeds

Hopefully these are helpful if you are looking for some new foods for your little ones or looking for some recipes for those littles who struggle with sensory challenges. What are some of your little ones favorite foods? I am always on the hunt for some new foods for our boy!
