Hi. I am Elizabeth.

Welcome to my blog. I use this little space to chronicle the adventures of the Noel family!

Shop Small this Holiday Season!

Hi all!

I am back on schedule this week! Thankfully, everyone is well in our home again, and we are all sleeping through the night- which is such a blessing! I know that Christmas shopping crunch time is here- and I know I promised you a couple more gift guides- so those will be going up this week!

I tried my hardest to shop small this Christmas. I have a few things that I got from Target and Amazon- but the majority of our Christmas is from small businesses- many of them that give back. I love spending money, knowing that it is going to a passionate small business owner, or that the funds are being used to give back.

In October I wrote a post about my favorite stores that have are owned/ operated by parents of kiddos with special needs or that are created for kids with special needs. I am linking it here- many of our gifts came from these stores as well! So make sure to check it out!

Today, I wanted to share other businesses that I love that I have purchased from for Christmas or throughout the year- and even a couple that I still have wishlist items from.

Sherbert Shop- I just recently purchased my second planner from the Sherbert Shop. I ordered their Happy Balance Planner last year, after seeing a post about it. They are an Atlanta based couple who makes the best planners. They have daily and weekly planners- they focus on goal setting, balance and joy- and I just love that! Check them out on Instagram and if you are local to the Atlanta area, they have 2 pop-up shops coming soon. I am super picky about my planner, and this planner has been THE BEST and fit my needs perfectly. My new January- June 2018 planner should be arriving in my mailbox soon, and I can’t wait to start filling it up!

Marque Modest- I have ordered several clothing items from them. They are a local Atlanta online boutique. I love their passion to help women feel beautiful and they love Jesus as well. I always get compliments on my clothes from Marque Modest. Their new winter line is launching soon, so be sure to check them out. A few of my current favorites are this top, this top, and this top. So cute!

Noonday- One of my dearest friends is an ambassador for the Noonday Collection. I have bought many gifts (for others and a few for myself) from Noonday this holiday season. I love that the accessories are handmade by artisans and the funds go back to help the artisans support their families. Such a great company, and their stuff is GORGEOUS. I have added so many pieces to my collection this year. One item still on my wishlist is this bag- it would be perfect for my laptop and books that seem to go everywhere with me!

Jana Fleming Art- Jana was a dear childhood friend, and now she is an amazing artist. We are saving up to get a few of her pieces for our new home. I absolutely LOVE her pieces. She is a brilliant artist and I can’t wait to have her art hanging in our home soon!

Elisabeth Ashlie- I have loved her jewelry for awhile now. I love her curated boxes as well. They make perfect gifts. She now offers much more than just jewelry. She is also one of my favorite bloggers, so you should check her out there as well! I am loving this makeup bag set- it would be a perfect gift altogether, or you could split them up and have 3 different gifts!

Weestructed- We have several Weestructed products in our home and love them. Gus has the exhausted tiny human blanket, I have the raising tiny humans is exhausting shirt, I have the Raise good humans tee,  and I gave the teaching tiny humans is exhausting water bottles to Dex’s teachers last year. One of the Motherhood: winging it shirts is on my wishlist this year. I love their products. They are fantastic quality and are just the cutest!

Lovishly- I found Lovishly, when I was on the book launch team for Heather Avis’ book, The Lucky Few (which would also make an awesome Christmas gift). Lovishly has a The Lucky Few necklace, that I wear daily. I love that each of their pieces have a purpose and they are really big into giving back. Any of their pieces would make lovely gifts!

I would love to hear about any small businesses that you love! Always looking for new ways to shop small!
