Welcome to my blog. I use this little space to chronicle the adventures of the Noel family!

So, I figured it would be good to start out the blog I am writing about the Noel family if I tell you how we became the Noel family.

Our very first photo together.

Our very first photo together.

Bryan and I met at church. I had just moved home from spending my first two years of college in South Carolina, and had started teaching high school girls' Sunday School. Bryan was the media guy for the youth, and as he said "he looked down from above and saw me, and that was it". He's definitely the romantic one in our relationship. haha.

this is our engagement photo- not from awkward family photos. I am not really sure why I thought pink and blue was a good idea. Yikes!

We had several mutual friends, but I wasn't ready for something serious because I had recently broken off an engagement. Needless to say, my mom was the first one to notice Bryan and comment on how cute he was. My response was, "ummm, no. I heard he is weird." See, I told you he is the romantic one.

Well, we ended up being introduced (by my now brother-in-law), and I was smitten. We met the last week of October, started dating in November, got engaged in January, and married in July. The saying is true- when you know, you know. Almost 12 years later, and I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Wedding Day!

Wedding Day!

We both had several years of college remaining after we got married, so we had the typical newlywed experience of living in an apartment and eating beans and rices during those years.

Once we finished school, I started teaching Kindergarten and Bryan continued working at the church a little longer. We had been married about 3 1/2 years when we decided we were ready to start a family...

More to come on our journey to our kiddos coming up soon!

Until next time...
