Good Morning friends!
So glad it is Friday! This week has been absolutely nuts, but I am thankful for a quiet weekend ahead. Also excited to have some of my sweet friends over for brunch this morning. Cooking and entertaining are two of my very favorite things in the world, so I am so excited to have the opportunity to do it for some of my sweet friends! How to host a quick brunch is coming to the blog soon! But today, I want to share some of my favorite beauty products with you!
When I asked on instagram what you guys wanted to see on the blog, many of you said hair/ makeup routines- and while I am still working up the courage to film a video of what I do/use, I will share my top 5 beauty products!
Lets start with foundation- I don't like the feel of full-coverage foundations, but I like the coverage- so when I found It Cosmetics CC cream, I knew all my foundation dreams had come true. It is the best. Full coverage without feeling heavy. It is all I use on my face- no concealer at all. I swear by this stuff- and it has spf 50. I know, win win. I put it on with a brush- then blend around my eyes, nose, chin, and forehead with a mini beauty blender.
Another favorite is my Arrow Boost color enhancing lip balm. I use this daily. it uses the ph in your lips to create the perfect pink. Think dior lip glow for half the price. I got it in my birchbox, and I have already ordered a full size version. It feels like chapstick, but gives a perfect pink color ever time.
My third favorite product would have to be my Origins Ginzing eye cream. This stuff is the best. I put in on when I wake up in the morning, and it helps with the puffiness and dark circles so that I don't have to use a bunch of concealer. It has a great cooling effect too. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
I think that Tarte blushes are on everyone's favorites list- and they definitely made mine. I have a few different colors (Dollface and Peaceful are my favorites), and they are my perfect for every day. They are super pigmented, and seem to last forever. They stay on all day, and are totally worth the price.
My last favorite are the Stila smudge stick eyeliners. I use lionfish and stingray on the regular. They go on like a dream, last forever, and stay all day. I have tried some of the dupes out there, and none of them come close to the stila eyeliners.
Well, those are my top 5 products that I always have in my makeup bag. What are your beauty favorites? I am always looking for new things to try!
Until next time...
