So Glad it is Friday!
Happy Friday friends!!!
This week has been crazy!!! I have had at least 3 meetings or calls each day! Whew, I am glad it is the weekend, and I am declaring it will be a lazy one!
This week we had Dex’s annual review IEP meeting. Since he moved schools in November, it has been such a great experience. This meeting was no exception. We are so thankful for Dex’s team, and are so thankful to have fought the fight to get to where we are now! Inclusion is the best!
I just wanted to share a few things I have been loving this week.
Dais Podcast: This week’s episode of Rachel Hollis’ amazing podcast featured Kelly LeVeque as her guest. Kelly’s book, Body Love is already on it’s way to my house. Thanks Amazon Prime. They discussed food, as Kelly is a nutritionist. Honestly, I have never heard many of the things she discussed about staying full, how your body breaks down food, etc. It was SO informative and enlightening. I can’t wait to read the book and glean more of her wisdom.
Gus and Dex have been playing with the toy kitchen we have so much recently. I love it so much. It is sturdy, wooden and modern. If you are looking for a kitchen for your little ones, look no further! The fridge even has an ice maker!
I have been living in the boyfriend jeans I got at Old Navy with my super cash. They are so comfy and I will probably live in them this summer.
Speaking of jeans, I just ordered these jeans from the Loft during the friends and family sale- I can’t wait for them to arrive. I think jeans are my favorite clothing item. I wear them all the time- dressy, casual, with heels or flip flops. They are the perfect piece of clothing.
Lastly, let me just tell you guys how amazing the new beautycounter makeup wipes are. They are SO good, and they took off all my makeup and left my skin feeling clean, but not dry. I have a post coming soon about all of my favorite beauty products, and these will be at the top of the list!
Hope your weekend is filled with good weather, good food and the ones you love!
Until next time...
