Hey friends!

I have been a little MIA this week. Dex had camp in Atlanta everyday, I haven’t been getting enough sleep, and honestly, there just haven’t been enough hours in the day. Yesterday, Bryan and I went on a working date while Dex was at camp, and our amazing nanny had Gus. I was determined to get a post up today! So here are 5 random things I am loving these days.

Big Picture Story Bible- We have been reading through this Bible with the kids each evening. It has been great for Dex- he can really understand the stories, and each story has comprehension questions throughout the story. My favorite part about this Bible is that every story points to Jesus. I am not a huge fan of the children’s Bibles that just tell the stories in isolation. I want Dex and Gus to know the big picture- that the whole Bible and everything in it points to Jesus coming to Earth, dying on the cross and His resurrection. It’s a good one- check it out if you are looking for an easy to understand Bible for your kiddos.

Computer bag from Universal threads- Before I went to California in May for the Lucky mama’s retreat, I grabbed this cute bag to use as my carryon. I love the color and have been using it constantly ever since. It’s my favorite!

Antico Pizza- Bryan and I have Antico Pizza for the first time yesterday. And it did not disappoint. There is a reason it has amazing reviews. I can’t wait to enjoy my leftovers tomorrow for lunch. If you live in the ATL area, check it out. It is amazing pizza.

Sessions Stand in Marietta- Our new favorite spot for coffee, pastries, fresh flowers, produce, and fresh peach slushies- seriously, this hidden little gem is a perfect spot for a date morning, brunch with friends- even good for kiddos and dogs. Apparently I am very into restaurants this week.

Just Cookie Dough- Might as well leave you with another food item this week. When I have emotional weeks with very little sleep, I tend to eat my feelings. Clearly. :) This stuff is amazing. I have been wanting to try some of the edible cookie dough for a little while and this stuff did not disappoint! Perfect for a little spoonful of something sweet without having to turn on the oven and make cookies. And you don’t have to worry about pesky salmonella.

Well, I am off to date my husband some more! Have a great weekend, friends!
