What's on my Birthday Wishlist
Happy September, friends!
September is my favorite month of the year! Not only is it my birthday month- it is also the beginning of my very favorite season. I love fall. Bring on the cardigans, booties, pumpkin spice and football. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Now, if the weather would cooperate and not be a million degrees, that would be great!
Every year at the beginning of September, I make a birthday wishlist. Just things that I have liked throughout the year- and I use it all the way through Christmas. I know it is helpful for Bryan and my family to have a list when they ask what I want for my birthday. I usually make this list and just call it my “Birthmas” list. :)
Some things I am loving right now are:
Satin pillowcase- I have heard these are game changers for skin and hair. I love the look of this one on amazon. It would go perfectly with our newly decorated bedroom, and keep my hair from looking like a birdsnest in the morning. I have also heard it fights aging- hello, 35, I need anti-aging help.
Anything from Carly Jean Los Angeles- Carly Jean is my favorite place to shop for clothes. They are an online boutique, with the most precious and well made clothes. They feel like pajamas, but look so cute on. I also love that everything goes together. That is my kind of capsule wardrobe. I have at least 12 pieces and I can mix and match to make so many different outfits. They have bags, hats and jewelry as well. Seriously, it’s my favorite. I told Bryan I really just want CJLA giftcards for my birthday. :)
Airpods- I really just want these for the convenience. I am the queen of wearing headphones and then ripping them out of my ears every five seconds. My hand will get caught, or I will get them caught on something. The apple earbuds will solve this problem.
Loopy phone case- My bestie has one of these and I love hers. I keep dropping my phone even with the pop socket and so something that loops on my finger sounds better to me. I also love the rose gold marble. I think I may buy this as my birthday gift to myself this year. haha
The Five Minute journal- This intrigued me and is something I would love to use to store memories and get my creative juices flowing. I never thought of myself as a writer, but this little blog space has helped me realize that I may not be the best writer, but I definitely enjoy it. I would love to use this journal to help cultivate gratitude and remind myself of little happies I experience daily.
Last but not least, I love a good cookbook, and Tiffani Thiessen’s book, Pull Up a Chair, is available for pre-order. I can’t wait to get it and read it from cover to cover and then make so many of the recipes. I love her cooking style, and I know the book will be amazing.
